Celestial
Celestial comprises 44 woodblock prints on kozo washi collaged together, printed with rare lapis lazuli pigment in gentle gradation from the diameter of the circle to the north and south edges. Reflecting the qualities of the spring light, the piece was created for the Vernal Equinox 2023, when we experience equal hours of day and night on March 20th.
Celestial was presented at ARTEFECT at Design Center Chelsea Harbour in London as part of London Craft Week.
