SGCI Southern Graphics Council International - FLUX The Edge of Yesterday and Tomorrow, Portland, Oregon, USA.
March 30th - April 2nd 2016.
The 'Language of Gestures' project which launched in China at IMPACT 9 last Autumn will be travelling to Portland, Oregon for this Spring's SGCI event at PSU as part of the 'Projects and Demos' schedule.
The project invites visitors to use Indian block printing and Japanese mokuhanga techniques to contribute to an ever evolving printed scroll exploring language and gesture, mark making and collaboration.
This project has been made possible through funding from Arts Council England & The British Council's International Development Award, and a generous donation of Japanese washi from 'Awagami Paper Factory.'
