Unravel
At dawn on September 23rd 2019 I walked north to unravel This place you return to is home, a knitted cocoon of indigo dyed local wool containing over 10,000 stitches. The piece was made over one year, completed on the Autumn equinox 2017 during a durational knitting performance in Weak from dreaming, a site-responsive one-person observatory. Unravel took place over 4 hours, across 2 miles between 2 signposts on the Northumbrian moors.
